Tours Airport is the main airport in the Centre region.
We have no figures about Centre airports. The minor activity of Tours Loire Valley airport can explain this. Since Paris is so close, there is indeed no need to further develop air travel.

The local airports strive to exist, they are dominated by Parisian huge airports. |
