Languedoc-Roussillon Hotels
- The region records more than 100 million overnight stays a year and has 2 million beds at tourist's disposal. In 2009, deluxe accommodations especially have the wind in their sails.
- With 2,000,000 marketable beds, Languedoc accounts for 11 % of the total French accommodation capacity. Camp sites are the most numerous, followed by hotels and holiday furnished flats.
- It should be noted that whatever the type of accommodation, the choice is wide in terms of comfort range. 4 star camps sites for instance offer all the modern amenities and have little to
do with no frills tents.
- As regards the holiday housing distribution, departments rank in the following order: Hérault in the lead, Pyrénées Orientales, Gard, Aude and Lozère at last.
